Il colore Kaki è peculiarità delle divise militari e delle mimetiche, le quali sono state adottate dalle diverse sottoculture e movimenti artistici durante il corso degli anni: una di queste, l'Hip hop ha fatto del camouflage una vera e propria bandiera, specialmente durante gli anni '90. In questo movimento si identifica il cantante e rapper Isaiah Rashad, della scena di Chattanooga, che ha direttamente chiamato un suo brano Khaki, contenuto nell'album Welcome to the game, datato 2014.
